VALUER COMMENTS Upon initially visiting 2 Park View I was amazed by the sheer size of the house which is not obvious from first impressions outside. This is a substantial period house which has managed to retain the features and the feel of a property built soon after the turn of the century. It is perfect for the family having so much space inside (I believe there is space on the second floor to create a shower room if required) and there is a lovely garden to the rear which is totally enclosed and ideal for children. The chalet at the bottom of the garden makes an ideal play area or study or studio. This is a great village for families there being an excellent primary school and the surrounding scenery is simply breathtaking. VENDOR COMMENTS Our 100+ year old house has only had 4 owners in its lifetime. Maybe this is due to the cosy secure feeling the house gives you. The thick stone walls 'hug' you in the winter and help keep you cool and calm in the heat of the summer. However the garden is perfect for the sun seekers as it takes advantage of the afternoon/evening sunshine and is a private haven. Bamford is a hidden gem of a village with a great community. The primary school is one of the highest rated in the country; there are many local amenities plus a station which has a direct line to Sheffield and Manchester for easy commuting. The Peak District National Park has magnificent countryside and many outdoor activities literally on your doorstep. You, as we have, could raise your family in a safe and healthy environment. We will be sad to leave Park View but we are starting out on a new life and therefore it is time to pass our lovely home onto someone new to enjoy.
